ONLINE & IN-PERSON THERAPY/ASSESSMENT
I am currently offering in-person sessions for individuals in the Comox Valley, BC and online sessions for individuals located anywhere in British Columbia.
INTAKE ASSESSMENT
Our first appointment will be a 90-minute intake assessment during which I will gather information about the problems you are seeking help for, your history, and any symptoms of mental disorders that you are experiencing. The purpose of this assessment is to help me form diagnostic impressions so that evidence-based treatments can be recommended. Evidence-based treatments are treatments that have been researched and found to be effective.
$350 Initial Assessment (90 minutes)

COMPREHENSIVE PSYCHODIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT
Comprehensive Psychological Assessments are conducted for a variety of reasons including diagnostic clarification (e.g., the presence or absence of psychological disorders), eligibility for services/funding, treatment recommendations, and treatment planning. The assessment aims to provide information about a specific question related to psychological, cognitive, or emotional functioning and an outcome of the assessment could be diagnosis of a mental disorder. Additionally, in many cases, the assessment is designed to assist in determining eligibility for services and, if eligible, to guide treatment planning.
Psychological assessments typically consist of a comprehensive clinical interview, psychological testing, preparation of a written report, and a feedback session to communicate results. The time required to complete a psychological assessment depends on the nature of the assessment, the question being addressed, and any operational issues that may arise that prolong the scheduling of sessions. In general, the clinical interview and psychological testing can occur over several sessions, followed by a feedback session to discuss the results of the assessment.
$235* Per Hour (billed in 60-minute increments)
*Comprehensive Assessments can take anywhere from 6-20 hours and more depending on the referral question, client presentation, scope of the assessment, and other factors that are unique to the individual client/circumstances.
